Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and handled in connection with access to and use of the liquid staking protocol, including all smart contracts, interfaces, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Protocol"). By using the Protocol, you acknowledge and accept this Privacy Policy.
1. Overview
The Protocol is designed to be non-custodial and privacy-preserving. We do not require user accounts, do not collect personal identity information by default, and do not custody user assets.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
The Protocol does not collect or store:
- Names, addresses, phone numbers, or identity documents
- Private keys, seed phrases, or wallet credentials
- Payment card or banking information
- On-chain transaction authority
You are solely responsible for your wallet and blockchain interactions.
3. Information That May Be Collected
Public blockchain data, such as:
- Wallet addresses
- Transaction hashes
- Token balances and interactions
This data is public by nature and not controlled by the Protocol.
When using a web interface, limited technical data may be collected automatically, including:
- IP address (potentially anonymized or truncated)
- Browser type and device information
- Interaction data for performance and security purposes
This data is used only to operate, maintain, and secure the interface.
The interface may use:
- Essential cookies for functionality
- Analytics tools to understand usage patterns
No cookies are used for advertising or cross-site tracking. You may disable cookies via your browser settings.
4. How Information Is Used
Collected information may be used solely to:
- Operate and maintain the Protocol interface
- Improve performance, usability, and security
- Detect abuse, fraud, or technical issues
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
Information is not sold, rented, or used for marketing purposes.
5. Third-Party Services
The Protocol interface may rely on third-party services, such as:
- Blockchain RPC providers
- Hosting or analytics providers
These third parties may process limited technical data in accordance with their own privacy policies. The Protocol does not control third-party data practices.
6. Data Retention
- No personal data is intentionally retained longer than necessary
- Public blockchain data remains permanently available on-chain
- Technical logs, where used, are retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes
7. Data Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect any data processed through the interface. However, no system is completely secure, and use of the Protocol is at your own risk.
8. International Users
The Protocol is accessible globally. By using it, you understand that information may be processed in jurisdictions different from your own, subject to applicable laws.
9. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to:
- Access to information
- Correction or deletion of data
- Objection to certain processing activities
Because the Protocol does not maintain user accounts or personal profiles, fulfilling such requests may not always be technically possible.
10. Legal Basis (Where Applicable)
Where required by law, data processing is based on:
- Legitimate interests in operating and securing the Protocol
- User consent where applicable
- Compliance with legal obligations
11. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Protocol constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
12. Contact
The Protocol is made available by TEMPEST FOUNDATION, a private interest foundation established under the laws of the Republic of Panama, acting solely as a supporting entity. This disclosure is provided for legal and compliance purposes only and does not imply custody, control, or fiduciary responsibility.
